We here at Flying Tiger Entertainment, Inc. had the amazing chance to develop one of our top selling games for the beautifully-executed Galaxy tab. This little baby is a dream in the world were tablets are becoming the norm. Smooth, clean and easy to develop for, we're working on a product that is sure to be a big hitter in the marketplace. Some tips that I've discovered while working on creating buzz for quick download-and- play games, is that you really need to widen your scope in regards to finding journalists to spread the word on your product above others.

YouTube is the new wikipedia for the world. It's the easiest and fastest way to get the concept and user playability across to the end user. Some games may be hard for players to grasp depending on how intuitive the gameplay may be. Of course, there are tons of magazines and sponsored events to get into, but unless you're going to link through the pages, your two-second sale could be lost.

Don't get me wrong, I still order and read many print magazines. I just haven't been successful in creating buzz when you haven't already done all the hard work of finding the user who fits your product. Another great place is blogs, where there are a variety of blogs out there reviewing new and awesome games all the time. Not only are these routes are easy to access, but they also provide instant gratification and have customers that trust in their opinion.

Creating a buzz for games is one of the hardest parts in marketing, and it's hard to enter the mind of your customer. Since we've grown with technology, people are always finding new and interesting ways on getting noticed. Customers are being constantly bombarded with advertisements all the time. Most people tune out when they feel they're being advertised to, and we've even created whole systems on avoiding commercials, i.e. prerecorded television. In this ever-evolving world, it's becoming more and more evident that we need to become even more inventive as well as find a balance between too much and too little.

In this market place, its extremely crucial to create a mutually beneficial relationship between the developer and manufacturer. You really can't survive the battle, and swim ashore without the backup from the manufacturer. This is where I believe Samsung has taken a great initiative in providing the developer with easy-to-use tools, and guidance when working with their team. I believe that this is an important step in getting developers to support your product. I'm really excited for our games to come out on this dreamy tablet.
